Since my early childhood dogs play a favorite role in my life. My father bred German Shepherds and since I can remember I have never been without a dog; something I just can’t imagine.

At the age of 11 I earned my first SchH 1 with my German shepherd female ‘Fawina v. Chrischonablick’ and continued until SchH 3. Other German Shepherds followed and all passed the SchH 3 successfully.

In 1993 I satisfied my wish to have a Malinois: ‘Janosch du Colombophile’, bred in Switzerland. He was a fantastic working dog with an equally fantastic character. We had the pleasure to start three times at the dhv German Championship, were several times winner of our town championship in the team and also in the single competition. Together we had a great time which I will never forget. ‘Phénix du Colombophile’(4 year of age) succeeded Janosch. He is also a fantastic and promising dog but not very easy to handle. But he is very special and I love him. Phénix successfully completed his VPG 2 and I am about to show him this month in my home club to get his VPG 3. Last weekend he earned his FH 1.

I am quite happy and proud to say that the ‘Hundeport’ tradition in my family continues now in its third generation as my daughter Alexandra also shares the love for dogs and this sport. With her 2 year old Malinois female she will enter her first VPG 1 very soon.

It is my pleasure and honor to judge this year’s LV National Championship in Clermont, Florida. I am looking forward to meeting you there soon.
