How to Form a DVG America Club

There are club packets available from each KG (Region), who will be happy to provide them upon request, along with information about KG dues, KG officers, and acceptance policies.

    Each new club must have a minimum of seven new, full members (not currently a member of another DVG club). If a club has only seven members, couples must both apply as full members. Each forming club, must also supply a set of By-Laws with its application.

    Club applications, accompanied by the paperwork and a check for dues are to be sent to the KG membership officer for processing and approval. These are then sent to the LV Treasurer, and then on to Germany for final approval, which requires 4 to 6 weeks. It is suggested, because of time required for approval, that a club forming in the last quarter of the year make its membership effective date January 1st of the following year and pay dues only for the full year.

    The new club packets contain all necessary forms and information. The regional officers, LV Treasurer, and LV Secretary are available to answer any questions and guide new members and forming clubs through the application process.
